We met for the first time in the fall of 2018 while attending Bethel University. We were at a meeting for a missions trip that we would go on in the coming spring. On this missions trip, we bonded over scary driving experiences, our former days of playing baseball/softball, and, obviously, a love for Jesus and serving others. After the trip, we maintained a close friendship, but didn’t start going on dates until February of 2020. With a strong foundation already built, our relationship took off like a rocket ship. We officially started dating February 23rd of 2020, but unfortunately, the world was hit by a pandemic that sent us home from Bethel. Living 100 miles apart, we continued to grow our relationship over FaceTime and constant text messages for two and a half months. In June, we were both able to move back to the cities and live only 15 minutes apart. Over the next two years, we filled our days with tons of movie nights, home cooked meals and dining out, road trips, days of hiking and fishing and kayaking, double dates, family visits, and countless other amazing memories that we’ll remember forever. Then, on March 27th of 2022, Michael surprised Taylor while she was out four wheeling with her sister, Rachel. Back in the woods of the Larson family Hill farm, Michael asked Taylor to marry him, and, of course, she said yes. Now, as we plan and prepare for our big day, we are beyond excited for everyone to come and be a part of this wonderful occasion. We hope you can all make it!
