Our first date went from meeting for coffee to four years later going back to the same spot to take our engagement pictures.

After having our first date on May 22, 2018 we clicked and I guess who could say we were enchanted with each other. (any T-Swift fans get that reference please?). From playing beer darts (we can explain), to sushi dates, and many movie nights, an "I Love You" was not far from being said. Can we all take a guess on who said it first? If you guessed Eric, you win a gold star! Although Taylor did ask Eric to be "official" first.

Throughout 2018 we grew closer, going on many dates, meeting each others families and friends, and just enjoying our time together. Eric was was in the middle of competing his paramedic schooling, which definitely made dating and seeing each other at times hard, but also worth it. We learned so much about each other and got to grow with each other. Going through that first year together with our jobs that barely paid anything and going to the Japanese Dollar Store to do our stocking stuffers for each other, has now actually turned into a yearly tradition at Christmastime.

A couple months into 2019 Eric became a paramedic and later that year started working for CalFire as a Firefighter Paramedic. Shortly after Eric got his dream job, we moved in to our first place together in Mission Viejo. Honestly we had really been living together a couple months into us dating because we were so attached at the hip, and because of Eric’s weird work schedule (You firefighters, paramedics, and EMTS get it). Nothing could really get much better, until one December 2019 night when Eric brought our fur child home. Yes We’re talking about our dog Oliver. I should really say Eric’s dog because he idolizes Eric and every time he’s home, I am chopped liver but I digress. Its a good thing we had that dog because just couple month later we know everything shut down in 2020.

Although everything was shutdown for a good part of 2020, it gave us the time to start to think and start looking for houses. We started the process in December of 2020 and our home was being built by March of 2021!

Throughout 2021 was a lot of house updates and walkthroughs. Although we were very excited about having our new home, we also wanted to be engaged by the time we got into the new home. Eric had a plan up his sleeve (even though many pictures of rings were being sent his way). On August 14, 2021 surrounded by friends and family Eric proposed and we couldn’t have been more happy! A few short weeks later we moved in to our first home, and now here we are, a year and a half later, almost at the wedding day. We can’t wait to share our special day with all of you and party our little hearts out!
