This one goes out to Sam (or Samantha as Nick insists) - Taylor and Nick met in a somewhat unexpected way - thanks to a series of events involving Nick’s little sister, Alyssa, and her best friend, Sam. One year for Alyssa’s birthday, Sam posted several pictures of them out celebrating. In one particular picture, there was a guy Taylor had never seen before, but knew he wasn’t Sam’s or Alyssa’s boyfriend. At the time, Sam and Taylor weren’t just coworkers but also work besties so of course Taylor felt comfortable enough asking Sam who the mystery man was (and letting her know how cute she thought he was). Sam told Taylor it was Alyssa’s older brother and not only that, but he was single too! She knew before Taylor could even respond she was now on a mission to make this happen - and she didn’t stop until she did 😅 Nick was hesitant at first, not wanting to start anything with someone who lived that far away from him. Months went by with nothing exciting happening, until one random night at work, Taylor got a message from Nick. After months of Sam trying to convince him to reach out, Nick finally initiated it and set up the first date - a chill night in watching movies, hanging out, lots of talking, and a late night Taco Bell run of course. What started as a casual hangout quickly turned into something much more. Four years, a mutual love/hate relationship for the Browns, a few four-legged children, a house remodel, and lots of laughs later - we are so thankful that Sam was the persistent little sister she was 😉
