We met in 2020 at a campsite in Madrid through mutual friends who were camping together. He got my Snapchat and tried snapping me for two weeks, but I kept leaving him on read. :) Finally, I decided to give him a chance and responded. Our first date was at Saints, and when he spilled nachos all the way down his shirt, I just knew he was the one for me. After nearly three months of talking, he worked up the nerve to ask me to be his girlfriend on August 15, 2020. I moved in with him in January 2022, and in October of that same year, Daniel bought a house just outside Dallas Center, where we now live. Daniel got on a knee on July 4th, 2024 and the rest is history. :)
