What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive to the Elm Hurst Inn for 3:30pm to allow for enough time to park and get to the ceremony location. Please arrive no later than 3:45pm sharp for our ceremony start time of 4:00pm.

Can I bring my kids?

As much as we love your little ones, we have decided that our wedding will be an adults only event. We truly appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can unwind and celebrate with us!

What should I wear?

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting formal attire for our event. Please avoid wearing colours traditionally reserved for the bride- white, ivories, and creams.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones or personal cameras during the wedding?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices are put away and are on silent during the ceremony. We have hired professional photographers and videographers to capture our most important moments and would hate to have a well-meaning phone/device block that moment for them to capture. Following the ceremony, please take as many photos as you like! We will also be using a program called POV, which allows everyone to take photos following our ceremony to upload into a shared gallery for everyone to see. Keep your eyes peeled for a QR code to scan at the venue to get you started! This does NOT require you to download an app to your phone.

Can I bring guests/ +1's not noted on my invitation?

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you are RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitations.

Will alcohol be served?

Absolutely! During our cocktail hour, there will be unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic punch served along with hot hors-d'oeuvres. There will be a cash bar during cocktail hour if you do not want punch. During dinner, delicious, local house wine will be served. Following dinner service, we will have an open bar for the remainder of the reception.

How will my dietary restrictions be accommodated?

If you have any dietary restrictions (vegetarian/Celiac/allergies/etc) please select any main course from the menu found when you RSVP. The following step will ask you for any dietary restrictions. All dietary restrictions are taken seriously and your entree will be modified as necessary. If the selected entree does not meet your dietary restrictions, you will be provided with the "Chef's Choice" entree. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please ensure you have RSVP'd by no later than April 28, 2024. This ensures we have enough time to finalize all of the details and submit your meal selections to the Elm Hurst Inn.

Where should I park?

Parking at Elm Hurst Inn is complementary for all of our guests. Please park in any spot in the lot out front.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes! We have reserved a limited room block for our guests at the Elm Hurst Inn where our wedding is being held. For more information, please see the "Accommodations" tab.
