Jose and Taylor met as freshman on their first day at Kent State University. They lived on the same floor in Allyn Hall. They quickly became best friends and continued that friendship throughout their freshman year of college.

During their sophomore year of college, their friendship grew into a relationship. They fell in love and became an official couple on February 1st, 2015. They would celebrate this day for the next 8 years.

On June 14th, 2023 Jose proposed to Taylor in Sorrento, Italy. They spent their trip traveling across Italy and celebrating their commitment to love and a forever life together.

Jose and Taylor get married on July 13th, 2024!
