Our Journey Together

So let us tell you the story of how we met. We grew up about 15 minutes away from each other in the small towns of Saint Lawrence and Dysart; Pennsylvania. We went to the same church preschool program but didn't know that we did until we started dating. We both attended Cambria Heights School District but didn't start dating until our junior year of high school. We started dating on May 15, 2017 so getting married on May 17, 2025 will hold a special place in our hearts...and hey we also won't forget our dating anniversary and wedding anniversary since they'll be 2 days apart! Junior year of high school was quite busy and hectic for us as we were starting to figure out what both of our futures wanted to look like. We were heavily researching colleges we wanted to apply to, starting to write essays for scholarships, making sure our grades stayed good, playing in school sports, etc. Senior year of high school was a little more laid back for us once we got our futures figured out...we went to all of the senior formals together and made the most of our senior year with our closest friends. Paul decided to go to West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia to major in Industrial Engineering and Taylor decided to go to Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA to major in Health Sciences and minor in Biology. We made it through 4 years of long distance and both graduated with our degrees along with honors and chords. In February of 2022, Paul planned a trip to Niagara Falls to propose to Taylor but it had to be cancelled due to a snow and ice storm that was coming through the Northeast. On February 4, 2022 Paul took Taylor back to their first date spot at Glendale Lake located in Prince Gallitzin State Park where he proposed to her in front of the beautiful frozen lake as it was snowing. Shortly after, Paul got accepted into the LDP (Leadership Development Program) with Eaton Corporation that moved us pretty far from home to Asheville, North Carolina in the summer of 2022. Taylor worked as a veterinarian assistant where she took care of small companion animals at a local animal hospital. We had the time of our lives in Asheville (spelled with an E!) living together. We explored and hiked the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, visited The Biltmore Estate quite frequently, made life long friends, and got our fur baby border collie named Obi Wan Kenobi. Paul then got offered another position within Eaton Corporation that took us to West Chester, Pennsylvania in the summer of 2023. Taylor continued to work as a veterinarian assistant making a difference in animals lives as well as their owners at a small animal hospital that had offices in both PA and DE. Being closer to home was definitely a plus for us and we made the most of it by visiting family as much as we could and planned a lot of our wedding during our time living closer to home. Fast forward another year to the summer of 2024...Paul got offered a full time position as a sales engineer for Eaton Corporation in Knoxville, Tennessee. Taylor works as a veterinarian assistant at a small animal hospital where she loves taking care of her furry patients and making any sick patients feel better. We have enjoyed getting to know and explore everything Knoxville has to offer, spending lots of time with our pup Obi, and enjoying the wedding planning process. We are currently still living in Knoxville and we couldn't be happier living in the south again. All of these life adventures have lead up to our big day which is right around the corner. We look forward to seeing all of our closest friends and family on May 17, 2025 to celebrate our special day with us!
