We met sophomore year of college through mutual friends in a biology class. At the time, we barely spoke (Taylor says she said hi… Darius remembers otherwise). It wasn’t until junior year—thanks to anatomy class and a rock-climbing invite—that we actually became friends.

From there, things took off quickly. We studied together, climbed together, hung out constantly, and somehow kept a Snapchat streak alive all summer. By senior year, we were planning our schedules around each other, watching TV, playing video games, finger jousting, and spending just about every day together.

In February 2020, we officially started dating—right before the world shut down. When the pandemic turned us long-distance, we chose each other anyway, and that’s when we knew this was something special.

Now, no matter where we are, being together feels like home. We’re so excited to keep climbing through life side by side
