Is the venue indoor or outdoor?
Our intention is to hold the ceremony outdoors and then move indoors for the reception. Louisiana weather can be unpredictable, but we've planned for that! If the weather doesn't cooperate, the ceremony will be moved indoors. We want everyone to have a wonderful time, rain or shine!
will there be an open bar?
There will be beer, seltzers, and wine. If you decide to drink, please drink responsibly!
May I bring a guest/date?
Due to limited capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out!
What is the dress code?
Cocktail
Men--please wear suits and ties; Ladies--please wear cocktail attire.
Please do not wear jeans.
What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
The ceremony will start at 5:00, arriving to the venue 30 minutes early is a great idea to be sure you're able to find the venue, get parking, and settle in before it begins. Please be seated by 4:45.
If you have not arrived and seated by 4:50, you will not be able to join the wedding ceremony until after the "I do"s.
If I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay?
The venue is about 15 minutes away from Ruston. There are plenty of hotels in Ruston.
Are kids invited?
While we love your little ones, unless specifically noted when you RSVP, we kindly ask that you make arrangements for a sitter in advance. Please enjoy a night off; we can't wait to celebrate with you!
Will there be meal options for guest with dietary restricions or allergies?
If you need an allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know asap.
Will I be able to take pictures at your wedding?
We will have professional photographers. Please allow them to capture our day without interruption. We also ask that you refrain from posting any photos until after we have posted our own.
What time will the reception end?
We plan to leave the venue at 10pm.
