In 2017, Taylor joined Apple and formed a friendship with Michael. They worked together at Apple from November, 2017 to February, 2021. After reconnecting via Instagram in November, 2021, Michael took Taylor out for coffee, what he considers to be their first date. Shortly after, Taylor left the state for a trip. To Taylor’s surprise, Michael planned a romantic gesture upon picking her up from the airport with wine, charcuterie, coffee, and flowers. They had, what Taylor considers to be, their first date at Holman’s Table three days later.

In May, 2023, Taylor found an adorable Mini Aussiedoodle online, adopted him, and moved in with Michael. Taylor and Michael named their new puppy “Mac” after the place that brought the two of them together.

A year later, on July 26, 2024, Michael proposed to Taylor. They celebrated with dinner at Holman’s Table, where they finally agreed they had their first date.
