Q + A

HOW DO I RSVP? WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Kindly RSVP by September 30th, 2024. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you to still let us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a "no" as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors after this deadline - you will be missed!

WHAT IF I FORGET TO RSVP?

If you do not RSVP by the date on which we have provided, it will be marked as "no" and you will unfortunately not be able to attend the reception though are still welcome to the ceremony. If you were to show up at the reception venue, there will be no seats available for you. We will miss you celebrating with us and hope you understand!

WHAT TIME IS THE CEREMONY?

We are asking all guests to arrive by 2:45 PM with a 3 PM start time. This will allow guests ample time to find parking, obtain programs, find seats, and use the restroom.

WHERE DO I PARK FOR THE CEREMONY?

Our Lady has ample free parking spaces outside of the church. It's easy to locate and access. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Taylor for more details.

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

Unless specified on your formal invitation, we ask you do not bring a guest. Thank you for understanding!

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Although we love children, we're having a child-free reception as we want parents to enjoy their night out. Children included in the wedding party (i.e., flower girls, ring bearer, etc.) and first cousins are invited. If you're unsure if your child is invited, please refer to your RSVP. If invited, their name will appear under your name on your online RSVP. Otherwise, we ask that you do not bring them to the reception. We hope that you understand.

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Yes! We're asking guests to be in cocktail and semi-formal attire. Here's a link to Pinterest for inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/taylornanni121/wedding/guest-inspo-attire/ While optional, we would like for military personnel to dress in USMC dress blue "A" or service equivalent, except Navy, who we are requesting service dress blues.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE CEREMONY?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony, which means no photos. We ask all guests to follow this and be completely present during our special time. Our hired professionals will be doing the photo-taking during that time. Feel free to take all the photos you like after we say "I Do!"

HOW DO I GET TO THE RECEPTION AND WHERE DO I PARK?

Luckily, the reception is located just down the road from the church with the drive being less than 5 minutes. There is free parking located under the Pergolas. If staying the weekend at Portofino, you will have your own entry code and designated parking spots in the parking garage.

CAN I TAKE PICTURES DURING THE RECEPTION?

Absolutely! There will be a barcode provided at the reception where you can upload the photos/videos you take throughout the night. We would love all videos and photos from your POV to look at throughout the following week.

HOW DOES SEATING WORK?

The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please! However, we are requesting that you avoid the first two rows on each side at the ceremony for our immediate family and bridal party. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know. With that, there will be a seating chart with your assigned table number, which can be located near the sign-in table.

WHAT IS THE BAR SITUATION?

We are having an open bar which includes: vodka, gin, rum, bourbon, scotch, tequila, and house wines. However, we DO NOT want anyone drinking and driving. The venue is a condo, therefore, we highly encourage guests to book their stay through this location. It takes out the driving component with guests able to easily walk to their rooms!

If you still have any questions that are not answered here, please feel free to call or text me (Taylor)! I appreciate you taking the time to read this through and hope this can alleviate any questions/concerns.
