Im sure youve heard the phrase Whats meant to be, will be. What if I told you, thats all up to interpretation? Growing up Im sure you wanted something that maybe your parents felt you werent ready for. You had lessons to learn and responsibilities to prove that you could handle it. Everything worth having, comes in time & with life experience.. Whats meant to be, will be.. right? You can apply those same growing pains and responsibilities to relationships. Id like to believe nothing worth having comes easily. You cant fully appreciate the extent of a healthy and happy relationship, if you havent had a few run-ins with bad ones. I can fill our story up with a bunch of cliché terminology. My point being, you never really know what your meant to be is.. until, IT IS. Our love story goes back to a simple formal greeting via a mutual friend. If you have told us in 2015 that we would be getting married in 2023.. we wouldve asked hows that meant to be?! Having self-awareness allows you to be more HONEST with yourself and those around you. Communication builds the strongest form of TRUST. Recognizing each others wants, needs, feelings, boundaries without leveraging that to be controlling or manipulative.. that builds the strongest form of RESPECT. The strongest feeling of alliance and support.. LOYALTY. Nobody is perfect and we cant predict the future, FORGIVENESS should remain as consistent and as easy as a kiss- goodnight. All of these things are deemed most important in our relationship. I wouldnt know what any of that truly meant until I found my meant-to-be. To be able to explore all the wonderful things life has to offer with a bond this beautiful. -ONE MORE MOYLAN
