Taylor and I both grew up in Maryland. We met through mutual friends towards the end of high school and instantly clicked as great friends. We remained friends while Taylor moved to Boston as she attended Northeastern University for her Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees, and I attended University of Maryland, Global Campus, for my Undergraduate Degree. We both started our careers, Taylor in Boston, me in DC.

Throughout the years, we stayed in touch and anytime Taylor came back to Maryland to visit friends and family, she always found time for my family and I. One year when I was away on business, she stopped by my mom's house to say hello and to meet my new dog, Jax. She sent me a selfie of her with Jax, and to let me know she was sad she missed me, and we started chatting.

We began talking every day - texts, phone calls, and Facetimes. A few months later, we were dating, doing long distance between Maryland and Boston (thank goodness for cheap Southwest flights!). We would see each other every other weekend, alternating who would visit who. She sold me on Boston (the first weekend I visited, she packed the weekend full of classic Boston events - a Red Sox game, a Duck Boat tour, Faneuil Hall - everything). I began searching for a new job, and a few months later, I moved to Boston.

We have made so many hilarious, loving, and happy memories over the past few years in Boston, and we are excited to continue making memories as we move back to Maryland together.

Maryland is where we met, Boston is where we fell in love and got engaged, and Maryland is where we will get married and start our future. We both feel extremely lucky and grateful to have found each other and we cannot wait for this next step in our lives together.
