It all started in the spring of 2013, Junior Year of high school. Taylor was working her high school job at McAlisters Deli when Stan, one of Michael's groomsmen, brought him there to get lunch after one of their Affton hockey games. Oakville & Chaminade had one of the biggest Mid States rivalries at the time...Michael still to this day thinks that's why Taylor accidentally put fruit punch in his water refill. That spring, Oakville ended Chaminade's season in the playoffs much to Michael's dismay. Taylor made sure Michael, also known as Parry, didn't forget it. At the time, Michael's groomsman, Ben, was dating one of Taylor's grade school friends and Parry was playing Central States hockey with some of Taylor's high school friends. For the next year or so, they'd occasionally cross paths at parties, high school hockey games, or chirp each other via Twitter DMs.

January of Senior Year, in true Parisot fashion, Michael made a bet that if Chaminade beat Oakville in their first meeting of the season, Taylor would go to the Blues game with him. Oakville lost and their first date followed. Michael quickly realized how funny, frugal, and good looking Taylor was. They stayed in touch throughout the rest of senior year even after Chaminade flipped the script and ended Oakville's hockey season in the playoffs that year.

In the Fall of 2014, Michael and Taylor both headed off to the University of Missouri for their freshman year of college. MIZ! ZOU! Their dorms were next to each other and after they realized they could carry on a full conversation solely by quoting Miracle, they knew they had won the gold. They started dating on Sigma Chi Formal in Memphis in November 2014.

Fast forward to today, Michael still might say the Blues winning the Stanley Cup in 2019 was the happiest moment in the 9 1/2 years they've been together, but May 11, 2024 might just change that. Michael and Taylor purchased their first house in Kirkwood that they share with their cat, Pippa. They are truly happily engaged. Michael is working as a CPA and Taylor is teaching Kindergarten. They cant wait to share the most special day of their lives with their favorite people as they begin to write the next chapter of their story together!
