A tale as old as time....

Meeting at the local bar, an Instagram follow and then three long years of no communication until Chris mustered up the courage and "slid into Taylor's DM's". The couple share many of the same interests and passions, bonding over their love for the outdoors.

Taylor managed to lock Chris down quickly when she invited him to join her and her father on their first elk hunting trip in Saskatchewan.

The following year Chris was able to convince Taylor to buy a little house on the water without her ever seeing it. The hope that it would be renovated "room by room" and surprise surprise... that first room turned into a complete gutting of the entire building and a ten month project. They say if you can survive a home renovation you can survive anything.

The couple can often be found on the water whether its beach hopping, reeling in the next fish (or watching it swim away after someone hits it with the net) or swamp river cruising into the unknown northern wilderness. It was one of these wilderness cruises Taylor said yes to spending the rest of their lives together.
