10 Years ago I walked into sonic. It was my first day. I met a guy who introduced himself with a fake name. Naturally, I called him by this name only to later realize that it was a fake name! It took no time at all to notice the connection between us. We would flirt all the time and pick up shifts just so we could work together. Unfortunately we both had significant others. As time went on we remained close but as life would have it, timing was never on our side. We slowly fell out of touch and became a memory to each other for the next year. One day, out of the blue, I received a phone call from a friend saying that she was standing right in front of Brandon and he wanted to talk to me. We talked for a few minutes and after that we got back into the rythym from before. We talked everyday. Later on that year his younger brother tragically and unexpectedly passed away. This brought us together in a totally different aspect. A few days later on New years Eve we decided to finally make it official. We dated on and off. After breaking up the first time, we reunited and rekindled our flame on New Years Eve....(do you see the trend?) As time went on we had our ups and downs....and even though the world would tear us apart, our hearts would always find each other. Years later on New Years Eve at the stroke of midnight he professed his unwavering and unconditional love for me and asked me to be his wife. With all of our friends as witness I choked up and said yes! Our story is long, but it's beautiful and it's my favorite. We have been through the fire and the ashes together. We stand in the sun together. He's my world and I cannot wait to be his wife for all of our time!
