Linlithgow is a lovely small town that offers a peaceful escape from the city hustle. Crucially, it's very easy to get around from there:

You can catch a train from Linlithgow to Edinburgh and Glasgow quickly and easily.

Trains run frequently until around 11:00 PM, but please be sure to check the exact last service time for your travel dates.

Plenty of other public transport options, like buses, are available in both locations as well.
