Our Wedding

Corey&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;at&nbsp;Bastrop&nbsp;High&nbsp;in&nbsp;9th&nbsp;grade&nbsp;and&nbsp;graduated&nbsp;together&nbsp;from&nbsp;Beekman&nbsp;Charter.&nbsp;While&nbsp;we&nbsp;talked&nbsp;and&nbsp;were&nbsp;friends&nbsp;in&nbsp;school&nbsp;we&nbsp;never&nbsp;pursued&nbsp;anything.&nbsp;Luckily,&nbsp;our&nbsp;best&nbsp;friends,&nbsp;Dalton&nbsp;and&nbsp;Maci,&nbsp;did&nbsp;get&nbsp;married.&nbsp;Over&nbsp;the&nbsp;years&nbsp;of&nbsp;their&nbsp;marriage,&nbsp;Corey&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;would&nbsp;hangout&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;invited&nbsp;us&nbsp;to&nbsp;their&nbsp;house.&nbsp;Finally,&nbsp;in&nbsp;January&nbsp;of&nbsp;2021&nbsp;I&nbsp;mentioned&nbsp;my&nbsp;crush&nbsp;of&nbsp;Corey&nbsp;to&nbsp;Maci&nbsp;when&nbsp;discussing&nbsp;a&nbsp;funny&nbsp;joke&nbsp;he&nbsp;posted&nbsp;on&nbsp;FB.&nbsp;&nbsp;Well&nbsp;even&nbsp;though&nbsp;I&nbsp;asked&nbsp;her&nbsp;not&nbsp;to,&nbsp;thankfully&nbsp;she&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;listen,&nbsp;she&nbsp;told&nbsp;Dalton&nbsp;about&nbsp;it.&nbsp;So&nbsp;Dalton&nbsp;mentioned&nbsp;it&nbsp;to&nbsp;Corey&nbsp;and&nbsp;by&nbsp;January&nbsp;25th,&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;talking.&nbsp; Our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;ended&nbsp;up&nbsp;being&nbsp;February&nbsp;14th&nbsp;that&nbsp;year.&nbsp;And&nbsp;it&nbsp;has&nbsp;taken&nbsp;off&nbsp;from&nbsp;there.&nbsp;Corey&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;prayed&nbsp;for&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;We&nbsp;are&nbsp;both&nbsp;each&nbsp;others&nbsp;prayer&nbsp;that&nbsp;was&nbsp;answered.&nbsp;I&nbsp;thank&nbsp;God&nbsp;everyday&nbsp;for&nbsp;blessing&nbsp;me&nbsp;with&nbsp;Corey.&nbsp; April&nbsp;10th&nbsp;2022&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;palm&nbsp;sunday&nbsp;I&nbsp;will&nbsp;never&nbsp;forget.&nbsp;Corey&nbsp;got&nbsp;Maci&nbsp;to&nbsp;ask&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;help&nbsp;with&nbsp;Baby&nbsp;Wyatt's&nbsp;easter&nbsp;photos.&nbsp;We&nbsp;get&nbsp;there&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;is&nbsp;crying.&nbsp;Photographer&nbsp;is&nbsp;already&nbsp;there&nbsp;and&nbsp;has&nbsp;been&nbsp;taking&nbsp;shots&nbsp;of&nbsp;him&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;easter&nbsp;stuff.&nbsp;I&nbsp;completely&nbsp;missed&nbsp;his&nbsp;shirt&nbsp;that&nbsp;said&nbsp;"Will&nbsp;you&nbsp;marry&nbsp;my&nbsp;uncle&nbsp;Corey-&nbsp;Check&nbsp;yes&nbsp;or&nbsp;no".&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;trying&nbsp;to&nbsp;console&nbsp;him&nbsp;and&nbsp;then&nbsp;the&nbsp;Photographer&nbsp;started&nbsp;taking&nbsp;photos&nbsp;of&nbsp;us.&nbsp;And&nbsp;me&nbsp;thinking&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;getting&nbsp;some&nbsp;shots&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;baby,&nbsp;I&nbsp;started&nbsp;cheesing/posing&nbsp;with&nbsp;him.&nbsp;Whole&nbsp;time&nbsp;poor&nbsp;Corey&nbsp;is&nbsp;behind&nbsp;me&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee.&nbsp;They&nbsp;finally&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;tell&nbsp;me&nbsp;to&nbsp;turn&nbsp;around.&nbsp;Corey&nbsp;asked&nbsp;for&nbsp;my&nbsp;hand&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes.&nbsp;I&nbsp;cannot&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;with&nbsp;all&nbsp;our&nbsp;family&nbsp;and&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;take&nbsp;his&nbsp;last&nbsp;name.&nbsp; October&nbsp;21st&nbsp;2023&nbsp;will&nbsp;begin&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;for&nbsp;us&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;cannot&nbsp;wait! #FoundAGoodman2023
