Connor and Taylor met in May of 2020. COVID was ramping up which created a lot of challenges, but opportunities as well. Connor had just left his job in Seward and was in the process of purchasing a building to open his own Chiropractic clinic in Stromsburg. Taylor had just started summer break and was living at home in Albert, KS, taking online classes through Fort Hays State. Both had plenty of time on their hands with the pandemic going on. Taylor's friend Alyssa Kreft, had invited her to come to York to visit and that same evening Kyle Schoch had texted Connor to drive out from Lincoln to hang out with some friends. It just so happened that Taylor was there. They met, hit it off, and the rest was history. Connor and Taylor met up again that same weekend to spend some time getting to know each other before Taylor had to go back to Kansas. They spent the rest of the summer spending as many weekends as possible together in Kansas, Nebraska and Harlan lake. For 2 years, they made treks back and forth from Nebraska to Kansas to see each other until Taylor finally moved to Nebraska. In the fall of '23, Connor finally worked up the nerve to ask Taylor to spend the rest of her life with him.
