Fun Fact: Nate & I have known each other since 4th grade!!! We grew up going to different elementary & middle schools, but have had a mutual group of friends and reconnected our freshman year of highschool!

Nate played Varsity football & I was a cheerleader! During homecoming, I asked Nate to be my "escort" for homecoming queen at the pep rally!

Nate asked me to "officially" be his girlfriend! We were almost to the end of 1st semester of senior year here! #babies #highschoolsweethearts

We graduated high school! We both received athletic scholarships to Missouri Western State University and moved to St. Joseph in the fall!

Our 2nd annual Golden Griff Awards together! Every year, MWSU hosted an awards ceremony to recognize student athletes' achievements!

Junior Year!!! This was our last indoor season on the track team together!

I graduated college and accepted a job in Kansas City!!! Nate still had 2 years of eligibility left at MWSU, so we started our "long" distance chapter!

Our first solo trip together to Colorado Springs! We had the BEST TIME hiking, exploring the city, and trying out local breweries!

One of our FAVORITE hobbies is going to concerts!!!! This is one of many Hot Country Nights we attended at P&L!

Nate graduated college, competed at Nationals in discus, and moved down to Kansas City... this summer was also full of country concerts :-)

We got our first place together!!! It was so fun to decorate & get established in our new "home" and neighborhood!

We both are working towards our Master's degree!!! I had just graduated with my M.A. in Applied Behavioral Sciences and Nate had just finished his first year of his M.A.S. in Assessment, Differentiated Curriculum and Instruction.

After almost 7 years of dating..... WE GOT ENGAGED!!!! A day we will always cherish, spent celebrating with family and friends.

Life lately.... Nate finished his first season as a HEAD COACH for Lafayette's football program! They broke their 700 day losing streak on their 3rd game of the season!!! Taylor passed her boards exam in October and accepted a new position as a BCBA at her current company.
