Randomly set up by mutual friends, Ben and Taylor hit it off at a friend's birthday party in downtown Naperville, IL. Ben's sense of humor and Taylor's outgoing personality couldn't have meshed better and at the end of the night, Taylor said she sent a message to her mother that she thought she may have met the "one" that night, and couldn't have been more convinced. Shortly after meeting, they started dating at the end of 2019 and became inseparable ever since. They quickly realized they presented to be each other's perfect match, complementing one another greatly in life. Taylor is originally from Arlington Heights, IL and Ben from Sleepy Hollow, IL. They proceeded to move to suburban Tampa, Florida together in May of 2022 for a new job opportunity for Ben. It truly made them lean on one another in such a new experience with only each other to depend on. In 2024, they added to their little family with 1 furry baby named, Tails, their kitten they adopted in August 2024. He is treated like quite the King by Taylor and Ben. One could say it shows their excitement to be parents to their own babies one sweet day. In September 2024, after a drink and a walk through the town, Ben proposed to Taylor in the center of St. Armand's Circle in Siesta Key, FL. It was magical, lovely, and will always be one of their most special memories together. They are so looking forward to their next milestone of calling each other husband and wife in October this year and are so thrilled to be in this sweet chapter they are in life.

The shuttle to and from Hampton Inn and Suites will run 5pm - 6pm for Cocktail Hour and 11:45am - 12:45am after the reception comes to a close!

Downtown Arlington is a highly recommended walkable downtown area to explore with nightlife, great food, and live theater/bands. 5 minutes from our ceremony, it is a staple area for Ben and Taylor. The Italian restaurant, Carlos & Carlos, was one of their first special dates when their relationship started. We highly recommend stopping in this downtown area for drinks and appetizers between our ceremony and reception. We recommend Carlos & Carlos, Cortland’s Garage, La Tasca, Peggy Kinnane’s, Hey Nonny, Mago, and Armand’s.

Downtown Arlington Heights

The largest shopping mall in Illinois, and one of the largest in our nation, Woodfield truly has been in a staple in both Ben and Taylor’s childhoods. From the days of the aquarium, Santa’s village, and Marshall Fields, to trips with friends as teenagers finally let loose to explore. Woodfield has the full range of luxury stores to all the department stores, along with many restaurants.

Schaumburg has become a bustling suburb very close to Taylor’s hometown. Schaumburg provides great nightlife/restaurants including Westwood Tavern, Fat Rosie’s, Lou Malnati’s (get your authentic Chicago deep dish while you can!), and Chicago Prime Italian JUST to name a few.

Oh, baby don’t you wanna go to sweet home Chicago! Ben and Taylor’s hometowns are on the outskirts of this beautiful city. But, being in the northwest suburbs of Chicago means lots of experiences to recommend. From Navy Pier, to Millennium Park, to the Chicago Theatre, to the Art Institute, the Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, and Planetarium, there is plenty to stay occupied! If weather permitting, a stroll down the Chicago river walk is also a wonderful idea to soak in the unique vibe of Chicago and our beautiful architecture. Downtown or not, Chicagoland has the best of the best in food. Don’t skip out on an Italian beef at Portillo’s, an Italian ice at Johnnie’s, or an authentic Chicago style hot dog in Wrigleyville! But don’t you dare put ketchup on it!
