Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?

Your presence is the only gift we truly need! While gifts are very much appreciated, it is completely optional. We are registered a few places, including the Knot, Amazon, Walmart and Scheels. You can find the details on our Registry page at https://www.theknot.com/taylorshipleyandzachlittle/registry. There are also cash fund options on the site. For Amazon items, there is the option to contribute whatever amount you wish to larger gifts that way multiple people can chip in on bigger items that we may need. Our address is 402 Russell Street, Creston, IA 50801. Please be sure to include your name so that we know who to thank!

Is there a dress code?

We want everyone to feel comfortable! Nice jeans and a collared shirt are perfect for men. Ladies, wear whatever makes you feel pretty! Whether that be a dress or a nice sweater. It is February so plan for colder weather!

What about the weather?

Everything will be indoors with the exception of fireworks, pending weather, and the venue is heated so it shouldn't be too chilly. The parking lot is gravel, so pending weather, be careful walking inside. We don't want anyone to get hurt! Please make sure your phone number is added when you RSVP on the website!!! We will send out a message if something changes because of the weather. While the venue is on a gravel road, it WILL be plowed to the highway if we get snow. Make sure to follow the signs and go through the town of Cromwell to avoid the dirt road.

Can we bring children?

Each invite and RSVP lists who is invited. If your children are included on your invitation, we would love for them to come! However, we understand parents need a night away and encourage them to do so. If you’re able to find a sitter, we’d love for you to fully join in on the party and have a night out! But don’t feel like you have to stay home, if you can’t find a sitter, just make sure that when you RSVP, it includes everyone that will be attending. If something changes, please let us know!

Can I bring a partner, guest, friend, plus one?

If your guest name is listed on your invite or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family. If you have any questions, please reach out!

We're coming to town early. Do you have any recommendations on things to do or places to eat?

Creston has some amazing local restaurants to try out while you're here! Our favorites are the prime rib at Spencer's Chophouse, the Garlic Parmesan boneless wings at Mario's Sports Bar & Grill, and of course you can never go wrong with a strawberry margarita at Casa De Oro along with some chips and queso. Some of our favorite meals there are #30, #42, and the Miguel Special. For an extra treat, give their scallops a try! As for things to do, uptown Creston has some really great boutiques and shops to browse through. You can get a tea bomb from Hanson's Nutrition or a fancy coffee from Adam's Street Espresso to help hydrate and caffeinate before the festivities. There's a brewery in town as well as Willy's and Anson's which tend to have a great selection of cocktails and plenty of TV's to catch a game.

Will there be a bar?

Of course! The bar will be fully staffed until midnight. An assortment of beers and seltzers will be on site as well as a red and white wine option. The venue accepts cash and cards for payment and allow the option for you to open a tab for the night. They do not allow any outside drinks on the premises.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we'd like that time to be unplugged. We hired an amazing photographer and she will be sure to capture all of the important moments for us and we will share the photos with all of you once they are available. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to take as many photos as they want as long as it doesn't interfere with our photographer doing her thing. You can also send any photos to Taylor's phone the night of the wedding that way the bride and groom have pictures to look back on the next day! Taylor's Phone Number: 515-556-2993

Is there a music request list?

When you RSVP, you will be given the option to provide song requests so that we can build our playlist. After the reception, we plan to have a dance party with music that may not be appropriate for young ears. We understand that some of our guests may have different tastes in music, but we kindly ask that everyone respects our choice of music and joins us in having a good time.

What happens if I don't RSVP on time?

If we do not receive an RSVP by the date we have provided, it will be marked as a "no". We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope you understand.

I have a question I can't find the answer to. What is the best way to contact you?

You can call or text Taylor at 515-556-2993 or Zach at 515-657-2322. Please refrain from calling or texting the bride and groom on the day of the wedding for questions. Instead, you can reach out to Paige Russo at 641-202-6510 or Tyler Wolf at 515-450-1358.
