Our Wedding

Jacob and Taylor met on August 23, 2024, at The Owl Bar for their first date. They both had the best time together and quickly learned how much they had in common. Both loved their families, traveling, Texas A&amp;M football, and faith. From there, their relationship grew through fun and memorable adventures: two-stepping at the Stockyards, taking a spontaneous day trip to Colorado to see the snow, cooking together (mostly thanks to Jacob!), and even a trip to Minnesota. Jacob’s steady presence, thoughtful leadership, and faith set a strong foundation for their relationship, while Taylor brought joy, gift for bringing people together, and a deep love for the Lord. Everything since that first date has felt like the easiest yes! November 29, 2025, Jacob proposed to Taylor at her family farm in Arkansas and chose the spot that meant the most to her, one he remembered her talking about often.She said yes!While we have found such happiness in each other, we know that true joy comes from God and our steadfast hope in Christ. The dress code for the wedding and reception is formal. We ask that men wear a dark-colored suit and tie. For women, floor-length evening gowns are encouraged, but a midi-length dress is also appropriate.Ladies, we'd LOVE for you to wear your favorite bright, cheerful colors to match our joyful celebration!
