Patrick and Taylor’s journey began in July of 2019 when they first crossed paths at a mutual friend’s house for the 4th of July. Their next encounter didn’t happen until November of 2021 when they attended two Nebraska football games together, one of which introduced Taylor to Patrick’s sister, Catie, and her now-fiancé, Eric. After that, Patrick and Taylor had their first official date, though Taylor briefly decided to kick Patrick to the curb—a story he never lets her forget.

But fast forward to May of 2022, after reconnecting over several months, Patrick finally asked Taylor to be his girlfriend. Their relationship grew strong despite the distance, with Taylor living in Sioux Falls and Patrick in North Sioux City. After a year of long-distance dating, Taylor made the move to live with Patrick in 2023.

Since then, they’ve shared countless adventures, from traveling to Arizona, Costa Rica, Mexico, Texas, Wyoming, and California, to cheering on Nebraska football together and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Now, as they embark on the next chapter of their journey—marriage—they are filled with excitement and gratitude for the love and support of their family and friends.
