Daniel moved to Kingston, TN just prior to elementary school, and quickly befriended my cousin, Robbie. They have been inseparable ever since.

Daniel started coming around more on the 4th of July. We really got to know each other and hit it off the summer of 2016! He had just gotten out of the Army and was able to come around more frequently.

He would always try to sit next to me and flirt with me!

We reunited again on the 4th of July in the summer of 2018. Daniel was getting his MBA at the University of Tennessee (Go Vols), and I was still finishing college at FAU.

Another July 4th! This is the year Daniel and I both realized we didn’t want to go another year of ‘what could have been.’

Daniel graduated and got a job offer in Boston; he asked me to come visit him. I took him up on that offer and flew to see Daniel in Boston, on what was basically a red-eye flight, to hang out with him alone for the first time ever. Our first date was at a Mexican restaurant in Waltham, MA.

We were finally able to get both of our families together to meet for the first time!

Now we spend every 4th of July reminiscing on how we met! And that is why we chose to do a backyard wedding at the place we met, the Szozda/Mossing residence!

After a year of long distance, Daniel moved down to Florida and lived with my parents and I for 6 months while he worked out of an office in Miami.

We then HAD to move back to Boston again for Daniel's job for another 6 months (brrr).

Daniel accepted a promotion with his company which required relocation. We chose Wilmington, NC and could not be happier!

Daniel took me to dinner at my favorite Italian restaurant then proposed on the Wilmington boardwalk downtown right at sunset! We walk the boardwalk frequently and it's always nice to see where the special moment happened!
