We met at college at the University of Wisconsin - Platteville, where Jonathan was in his third year studying Chemistry and Taylor was in her second year studying Horticulture. In March 2022, we met on Tinder and started talking, bonding over a shared love of tea.

Our first date was March 26th, 2022 at Fiesta Cancun, where we sat in a booth in the corner of the room and just started chatting. It wasn't long before we found out just how much we had in common, to the point that we didn't feel like strangers to each other at all. It felt like we had known each other our whole lives. There was something so comfortable talking, something that just felt so right, so much so that it was no surprise that we started dating April 8th, 2022.

October 8th, 2023 was the year and a half mark of us dating. We planned a picnic and trying to take some fall pictures in the park. We set up one of our phones against a tree, set it to record to later take screenshots of photo moments, and instead, Jonathan got down on one knee and proposed. Taylor froze, ran over to her bag and grabbed out the ring she had, and also got down on one knee for a double proposal. Unsurprisingly, we both said yes and have been engaged since.

After the proposal, we graduated in May 2024, secured jobs as scientists in August and September 2024, and adopted two little furry friends that we absolutely adore (Moe and Millie). Our next step? Getting married, and we can't wait to celebrate with all of our friends and family!
