Our story began in July 2012 when Logan was 14 and I was 12. A tree fell on our house and he came over with my cousin, JT, to help out wherever he could. If you ask him, he could tell you exactly what I was wearing, which was a tie dye shirt with two french braids in my hair, and he could tell you what I was doing the first time he saw me. I, on the other hand, was too busy trying to make cinnamon bits to pay any attention to the people around me.

Fast forward 6 years and many attempts later on Logan’s part, I finally agreed to go on a date. In March of 2018 we went to the beach to watch the sunrise with Dunkin Donuts. He planned it all, he is a lot more thoughtful than I am.

We officially started dating in May of 2018 and did long distance for 3 years until FINALLY, through undergrad and many job offers, we finally lived in the same city in 2021 and ended our long distance streak.

On April 24th 2022, Logan pulled off, with the help of my sister and family, the best surprise engagement ever. He even got a photographer sneaking around to take pictures.

We’ve come a long way from 12 and 14 year olds who met because of a tree but our story is one we wouldn’t change. I was able to watch Logan go through and graduate from the Citadel and start his career. He’s seen me through high school, undergrad, and now graduate school. We have been able to experience so many big life events together and we can’t wait to celebrate this next one with you!
