We met the old-fashioned way - on an amazing app called Hinge in February of 2020. Before Brad could ask me out, I ran into him in person at PB Shore Club. My evening started out with some girlfriends for happy hour, but that quickly turned into late-night bar hopping with this tall guy who recognized me from the app. We hit it off great and after multiple drinks, we went our separate ways. Brad asked me on an official first date the next day.

We had a few fun dates before the pandemic started and the world shut down. Thank God we met when we did! I don't know if I could have been on lockdown with anyone else. We spent a LOT of time together during the pandemic. We watched every single Marvel movie (in order) and even managed to go on a road trip together. I realized pretty early on that I really love him.

Brad quickly became my child (dog) Bo's favorite person and Bo fell in love with Brad just as much as I did. I got to meet all of his amazing friends and family in San Diego and Buffalo - I have never met another person with more genuine friends than Brad. Believe me when I say I didn't know a thing about football before I met him, but (shocker) he converted me into a Bill's fan. Everything felt right and eventually, we decided to move in together in July of 2022. Besides leaving his dirty socks around the apartment, he is actually pretty great to live with.

I could not have been more excited and happy when Brad proposed! He surprised me in Balboa Park right as the sun was setting. He asked me to dinner at a restaurant in the park that we had been to before and were not huge fans of, so I was confused as to why we would go back. Good thing I went along with his plans! After leading me through the park, he dropped to a knee, gave a super sweet speech, and asked me to marry him! We did end up going to the restaurant for a couple of drinks, but ordering pizza felt like the best dinner that night. When we got home, the apartment was filled with with candles, balloons, and rose pedals!

I am so thankful I met Brad exactly when I did. I'm so excited to marry the love of my life and celebrate with all of our family & friends!
