Our story begins in the fall of 2017 when we met at a fraternity party during our freshman year at Purdue. We started dating in February 2018 when Matthew finally worked up the nerve to ask Taylor out, and we haven't looked back since! The past seven years together have been filled with laughter, kindness, and love. Every day, we feel grateful to have each other.

We are lucky to have walked through the big stages of life together. We graduated from Purdue in May 2021 and moved to Carmel and Indy with our parents. During Matthew's gap year, we traveled to Europe, some of the highlights being gondola rides in Venice and paragliding in Interlaken. Currently, much of our time is spent studying together while Matthew is in medical school at Marian University, and Taylor is back in school at Purdue to be a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. We still make time for each other through sharing in some of our favorite activities like cooking (making Lebanese meat pies, a fun Italian dinner, or our favorite chocolate chip cookies), spending time with each other's families on the lake in the summer, and adventuring around the city.

In January 2024, Taylor thought she was going to look at some plants at Garfield Park Conservatory with her roommate. Instead, Matthew was there, ready to get on one knee. It was the best surprise and easiest YES of our lives. We feel so grateful to have found each other, and we are counting down the days until our new favorite date: August 9, 2025! We cannot wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people.
