Our Wedding

Aspen grew up in Connecticut but spent every summer on the lake in Greensboro with his dad, mom, brother, and little sister. Taylor grew up right here in Hardwick with her mom and step-dad. We're excited to start building our life together here in Vermont!

Beginnings

Taylor and Aspen met while Taylor was waiting tables at the Highland Lodge. Aspen was at dinner with his family and fell in love at first sight. One large tip, a margarita on the house, and the rest is history!

Love at First Sight

While we met in Greensboro, we had our first date in Hardwick! We sang our hearts out during karaoke at the legion. Aspen sang Brown Eyed Girl and Taylor knew he was the one.

The ceremony and reception will be held at the Highland Lodge (1608 Craftsbury Rd, Greensboro, VT 05841). There are lots of nice places to stay and fun things to do in the surrounding area. Cell phone service can be spotty, and it might be good to have an extra can of gasoline in the car, just in case. Directions: If you are coming from Connecticut, take 91 straight up from Yale. If you are flying in from abroad, the closest landing strip for personal planes is in Stowe. There is no valet parking on site, and Uber and Lyft do not operate here so be sure to bring your personal driver.

Our Wish

The Civic Standard is an organization in Hardwick that is near and dear to the bride and groom. If not for karaoke night, Taylor may have never convinced Aspen to come to the Legion.In lieu of gifts, the couple asks anyone that feels so inclined to please make a donation to the New Home Fund of The Civic Standard. All donations will go to helping the organization decorate their home on Main Street in Hardwick! We also set up a gift registry for anyone who would prefer to give there!
