Daniel and Taylor met their freshman year at LSU. Taylor thought Daniel was cute, so she asked her friend to set them up for her sorority formal in 2016. Taylor still remembers him as the most fun date she ever had. They talked a little after, but ultimately went their separate ways until Daniel asked Taylor to his senior formal in 2019. Shockingly, she said no, but when they later saw each other at an exchange they talked all night. The two continued to talk after graduation, even with the move back to their hometowns. Don't worry, they made trips to see each other: meeting halfway in Lafayette for bowling and sushi, taking a road trip to Shreveport for a birthday party bus, and finally making it official where it all began, at an LSU tailgate. In 2020, Taylor moved to New Orleans for OT school and Daniel joined her months later while finishing his MBA. They've been creating their life in NOLA ever since. On May 31st 2024, Daniel popped the question, and obviously Taylor said yes to her 2016 crush!
