Following graduation from Texas Women's University, Taylor moved back home to IL to complete her Master of Arts in Counseling and was living in Tinley Park with her family. In the summer of 2019, Connor was living in Chicago while playing for the Windy City Thunderbolts, a professional minor league baseball team based out of Crestwood, Illinois. Taylor and Connor met through mutual friends and spent time getting to know one another as Connor was finishing up his baseball career. They decided to keep in touch after Connor retired from the sport and moved back home to Austin to complete his final year at The University of Texas. Upon graduating from UT in May of 2020, Connor moved to Chicago to be with Taylor as she finished up her master's program and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. After spending two years growing their courtship in Chicago, Taylor and Connor decided to move back to North Texas to be closer to their friends and to plan their wedding!
