NO, While we would love to have everyone there, we will be hosting receptions in Iowa, Florida and Pennsylvania to celebrate our big day. There is absolutely no pressure at all to make the trip to North Carolina and we will not be upset to those who can’t make it but we do encourage all to party with us at one of our receptions!

Derek and Taylor have traveled to the area yearly for trips since they met and have completely fell in love with the area. With Derek’s family being in Pennsylvania and Taylor’s being in Iowa along with many loved ones residing in Florida they felt it would be a good middle ground to ensure those that wanted to come don’t have to travel too far.

There are a few options close by for airbnbs or hotels, if you’re okay with a bit of a drive to our location, Asheville is located 40 minutes south of Burnsville and will also provide many lodging options as well!
