We met for the first time at one of Byron's DJ events, where we were introduced to each other by some mutual friends. Byron likes to say Taylor made the first move, but let's just say he was pretty persistent. Eventually, we became inseparable, and since then have created a great life together with so many amazing memories! Now, here we are, five years later, ready to take the next step in our journey. We're forever grateful for our friends who unknowingly played matchmakers and brought us together! We cant wait to celebrate with all of you on one of the biggest days of our lives and create even more cherished memories! With love and excitement,Byron &amp; Taylor

How We Met:

How We Met

Our proposal took place in New York City. Initially, I planned it as a small getaway for us to enjoy some quality time together. The morning after we arrived, Byron was dead-set on walking around the Boardwalk under the Brooklyn Bridge. Let me tell you, I fought him EVERY step of the way. I was convinced we should save the bridge for another day. However, his mind was made up and off we went. Fast forward to the bridge, where the scenery was just beautiful! We are walking around and Byron notices this great spot for us to take a photo (I should have known something was up because he hates taking photos). He unintentionally photobombs a photographer who seemed to just be shooting photos of the city. I'm annoyed, telling him to move and we can wait our turn. But then the photographer, surprisingly said it was fine and offers to take our picture. I was so excited about the unexpected opportunity that, of course, I said yes. The wind was going crazy and it was freezing out. So I'm wrestling with my hair trying to get into position. Once it calms down, I finally turn around, and boom - Byron is on one knee. Before he can even pop the question, caught up in the moment, I just shout, YES! and in my excitement, I grab the ring out of the box, starting to freak out. Honestly, I was so shocked in that moment that I didn't even realize Byron had hired the photographer and planned the entire thing. I didn't even notice the crowd of people around us clapping, until the photographer walked over and snapped me back into reality. So here we are, still a bit shocked, but happily saying yes to forever and loving that we get to share this memory with all of you!
