Ryan and Taylor met on a beautiful, summer day in 2015 at one of their favorite spots in Charlotte, Lake Norman.

Taylor was with her cousin (Kasey Tench) and they had just tied up next to Ryan’s best friend’s boat (Matt Harvey) near the Sandbar. Although there were many single women and men there, Taylor spotted Ryan immediately and knew she had to get to know him. Taylor walked right up to Ryan to ask his name and they hit it off immediately. Eventually, the boat Ryan was on was ready to depart. As the boat slowly drove away, Ryan realized he did not provide Taylor with his contact information. Naturally, Ryan yelled out his Instagram handle for Taylor to follow him (such millennials).

From that point on, Ryan and Taylor casually dated for many years. Taylor was finishing up her undergraduate and graduate degrees, while Ryan was focusing on his career. They both knew they weren't ready for something serious, but had to admit they enjoyed each others company. Plus, the universe seemed to like them together, because every time they went out in Charlotte, they would run into each other. Every. single. time.

Fast forward a few years, Taylor moved to Atlanta for work in 2019, so she didn't speak to or see Ryan again until she moved back to Charlotte in 2021. Once Taylor was officially back, she reconnected with Ryan and the rest was history.

Now, Ryan and Taylor have spent 4 incredible years together. From trips to Alaska, Hawaii, Pittsburgh, California, Mexico, and more. To buying their first home together. To experiencing deep loss together. They have grown so much as a couple and as individuals during the past 4 years.

Ryan and Taylor are thrilled to take this next step in their life journey together and officially tie the knot. And, they can't wait to celebrate their love with you!
