Brett and Taylor met randomly in Nashville, TN.

Brett was there for a bachelor party, while Taylor was there for a fun girls trip with her college friend, Haley. As Taylor and Haley were leaving the bar, Taylor saw someone do a double take in her direction. She thought "Why not?", walked over and said 'Hi'. They started talking and it turned out they were both doing the same Spartan Race in Pennsylvania the following weekend. There was an instant connection.

After an exchange of numbers, they made a plan to meet up with each other before the race and the rest is history.

One random Saturday morning, Brett and Taylor went on their favorite trail run to the waterfalls in Great Falls, VA. About 3/4 of the way into the run there is a look out to the falls, where they always stop and take a picture .

When they reached the lookout, they took their picture and Taylor started to chat about what she wanted to do that day around the house. As she was getting ready to finish the run back to the car, Brett got down on one knee and asked "Will You Marry Me?"

Safe to say - nothing on the to-do list was completed that day.
