It was 2016 when Donovan and Taylor first met at Hickory Ridge High School in Harrisburg, North Carolina. They were seated next to one another in math class, when Taylor insisted that Donovan take a headphone and listen to her music along with her.

Their relationship soon developed into something much more, where each and every second they had, they were spending it side by side. Taylor eventually went on to attend Queen’s University of Charlotte, where she played soccer and pursued an education in Health Science with dreams of becoming a Physician Assistant. Donovan too, went off to begin his college career at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he played football for two years before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he avidly pursued an education in Criminal Justice.

After focusing much of their time and energy on education, athletics and future career paths, Donovan and Taylor were both successful in accomplishing their wildest dreams alongside one another. Donovan became a Police Officer for Concord, NC, where he constantly strives to make the city a better place for our community. Taylor obtained her Master's of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at MUSC in Charleston, and will soon begin working as a Trauma and Acute Care Surgery PA in Charlotte.

Donovan and Taylor are over the moon to begin their next chapter in life together in the town their love story began.
