There are two scenic ways to reach Whidbey Island. You can either drive over the Deception Pass Bridge or take a ferry across the Puget Sound.
If you choose to take the ferry to Whidbey Island, you’ll enjoy stunning views, fresh sea air, and a little adventure before the celebrations begin.
The Mukilteo / Clinton ferry departs around every 30 minutes. We recommend looking at the posted sailing schedule (link) and suggested travel times (link) to best plan a smooth arrival to the island!
Mukilteo Terminal Address: 910 First St, Mukilteo, WA 98204
Clinton Terminal Address (on Whidbey Island): 64 S Ferry Dock Rd, Clinton, WA 98236
You can also reach Whidbey Island by choosing to drive across the iconic Deception Pass Bridge. It is located on the northern most tip of Whidbey Island, about 90 minutes from Seattle.
From I-5, take exit 226. Turn left onto state highway-536W until you reach state highway 20, a two-lane roundabout (stay in the left lane). Turn left and travel about 4 miles until you cross over the bridge onto Whidbey Island.
There are wonderful rentals available on Airbnb and Vrbo. We recommend booking soon, as these rentals fill up quickly during the summer. If you would like to be close to the venue, Langley or Clinton are both great areas to stay!
The "Hotels" page on the Whidbey and Camino Islands website is a great resource for information about the hotels, inns, and rental homes available on the island! (click here!)
