Our Wedding

Our story began in August 2019, when we both started our first year of law school at Penn State. While we knew going in that law school would bring us many new experiences, challenges and adventures, neither of us could have imagined we would meet our eventual spouse! The first weekend of school, Tommy and his roommates invited Taylor and her roommates over to their apartment before going to “bar review.” Tommy was immediately impressed with Taylor’s love of sports, and the two of us hit it off. As the school year progressed, we became close friends and eventually, Tommy built up the courage to ask Taylor to go out for an ice cream date to the Penn State Creamery. Since then, the two of us have been inseparable!&nbsp; Throughout our relationship, we have shared many adventures together. From sticking together through law school and the bar exam, to moving to Ithaca, New York and back to the D.C. area, vacations to Disney World, Europe, and Final Fours, we have always been by each other’s side. We also have a flat-coated retriever named Hokie, who has been with us through almost the entirety of our relationship! We both know who truly rules the house! On December 23, 2023, we traveled to Connecticut to celebrate the holidays with Tommy’s family. On a beautiful, New England winter day, Tommy proposed to Taylor and she said yes! We were able to celebrate our engagement with both of our families, and cap off our celebration with a trip to Disney World. We are looking forward to celebrating our love and marriage with all of our friends and family on October 4th!
