...There was a big yellow rubber ball, a field, and an immediate attraction, at least for one person. Josh had been playing on a kickball team for a few years with a bunch of close friends, just using the time to hangout and be active. One day, a teammate brought his girlfriend onto the team as she was desperately needing to make friends and be more social. Taylyn joined the team and almost immediately clicked with the other members and formed really great friendships! Poor Josh though, why did the cute new girl have to be taken?! After a few quick jokes and sharing of mutual interests, both Josh and Taylyn became good friends.

Fast forward a year, there was a beach trip with friends and news quickly spread that Taylyn was newly single! "What am I supposed to do about it now?!" Josh exclaimed as he sat on the beach with his friends. Taylyn was in Greenville, doing the very therapeutic brick smashing technique at this time. She received a text from Josh asking if they would like to workout together at the gym. Taylyn accepted and now these two are gym buddies.

After another year of kickball, going to the gym together, hanging out together...and some other not so great choices on Taylyn's part, these two went to a movie together alone for the first time. Taylyn thought this was just another mutual friendly hangout. Josh on the other hand, was ready to take the leap and finally ask out the cute nerdy girl from kickball. After driving her home, Josh asked Taylyn out on a date when she was ready. A week later, after a bottle of wine, Taylyn gathered up all the tipsy courage she could muster and accepted Josh's offer.

Since our first date, we have been by each others side! Within the first year together, we each sold our individual homes, moved into our current home, raise our two cats together, have traveled across the country, gone to many cons, have spent time apart as Josh travels internationally for work, and so many other wonderful things! We are super excited for this next chapter of our lives and can't wait to celebrate with everyone we love and care about!
