It all began with two kids growing up just a few miles apart, never realizing what our story would one day become.

As children, our lives crossed in small, almost unnoticeable ways—passing each other on the road, seeing one another at the occasional neighborly gathering, and even the brief time he got to “coach” me in T-ball. Back then, we weren’t truly friends, just familiar faces—the “kid down the road.” Yet even in those quiet, passing moments, our parents could see something we couldn’t: the beginning of a story that would grow into so much more.

Everything began to change in the summer of 2020. While helping my dad on the ranch, he and I started to build a real friendship—one that felt natural, steady, and easy. Over the next year, that friendship continued to grow until the summer of 2021, when everything fell into place. What started as him coming to help me walk a field turned into long conversations, county fair dates as “just friends,” and eventually making it official on August 1st.

From there, we spent our high school years growing side by side—learning each other’s hearts, supporting one another, and building a relationship rooted in love and trust. Becoming high school sweethearts was only the beginning. We continued to choose each other through every season, even navigating long distance during my first year of college.

Looking back, it’s clear our story was never by chance—every small moment led us to where we are today. From two kids who simply lived down the road to building a life filled with love, laughter, and countless memories, our journey has always felt meant to be. And now, as we step into forever, we are so grateful to celebrate this next chapter with you.
