As my best childhood friend, Chris is my brother from another mother. Since we met in 7th grade, I could always count on him for great laughs and being part of my support system during tough times. Though we attended rival HBCU schools, we still remain the best of friends for going on 20 years.

Teri is my sister and best friend. We've experienced lots of love, laughs, fun, and fights. Teri is my biggest supporter and I greatly appreciate her for that. On a day so wonderful as this, I couldn't imagine anyone else being by my side than the BEST SISTER IN THE WORLD!

The only one of my friends known by his last name, I first met Vass during marching band in undergrad. There's never a dull moment with this guy and he's always been there for me as well as my family. Vass is not only my brother in both fraternities, he is also someone I consider a great friend.

I've known Anthony since 2005 when he joined the tuba section in marching band. After finding out we had very similar childhood upbringings, I could always count on Ant to share a similar point of view which allowed us to remain close. His family has embraced me as one of their own and my family has done the same for him. The definition of a true friend, Ant is one of those who will always give you a straight up, unbiased opinion... someone who you'll always need in your corner.

Tharisa is my friend who I met in college. Tharisa and I developed a friendship while serving as members in student organizations at FAU. After years of hard work and educational travel, my friendship with Tharisa continues to grow as we face new challenges and triumphs. I am honored to be celebrating a HUGE milestone with her by my side.

I met Demitrius at church, he and his wonder twin Kenyetta. Demitrius is the wise younger brother I never had! He's loving and supportive even when he's telling me things that I don't want to hear. I love this guy and hope that I am as good a friend to him as he is to me!

I've known Reggie for over 10 years when we first met in band at NCCU. Anytime the two of us were around, someone is laughing usually because Reggie said something and I added on to it. Even through miles of practices, field shows in band, and road trips for any and every frat function, Reggie has been there for me through thick and thin.

I met Kenyetta at church, along with her wonder twin Demitrius. Kenyetta enhances my life in many ways. She reminds me to have fun instead of letting the trials of life weigh me down. I love her and am fortunate to have a friend like her in my life.

Randall is another one of my friends who I met through marching band in undergrad. As a memeber of the drumline, he wasn't far away on the field. Anyone who knows me knows very well that I love to fish, so anytime you see me on the water, I'm usually with Randall. A well known saying is that, "When you find a fishing buddy, you find a friend for life." Besides, anyone who can share a good laugh with you after falling out of the boat, will definitely be a good story for years to come!

Kalem is one of those friends for whenever we're together, there's no need to plan any fun... it just happens. Whether it's critiquing band clips on youtube, or fellowshipping with the bruhs during frat functions, Kalem and I often see things the same way and with the same sense of humor. For 10+ years, this guy is one who I can rely on providing a humorus but brutally honest outlook on things which is why I consider him a great friend.

Zion is my cousin and has held a special place in my heart since the day she was born. I am proud of the young lady she is now and look forward to the phenomenal woman she will become. I am elated that she will be in my bridal party, helping me to celebrate this joyous occasion.
