Q + A

What is the dress code?

We would love for the dress code of our big day to be semi-formal. As this is a summer wedding that will be on a farm, we understand this may be difficult. Specific instructions and advice will be described below.

For the ladies:

We would love our female guests to wear long dresses, floor-length to calf-length is perfect. If you're looking for inspiration, think garden party - lots of color and fun! The ceremony will be in the grass, so please avoid small heels. Chunky heels, wedges, or flats are recommended.

For the gentlemen:

While tuxes are great, they are not necessary for this event. Suits are recommended, and jackets are preferred.

Can I bring a plus one?

While we would love to celebrate with as many people as possible, due to the limitations of our venue we cannot accommodate additional plus ones. If you aren't sure if your significant other is invited, you can check through the RSVP portal. This can be done by typing your name into the RSVP portal and all members of your party will display.

The members of your party are those listed on the received invitation unless you have been told otherwise by the bride or groom directly.

If you have a particular question, please feel free to contact the bride or groom.

How do I get to the venue?

Google Maps usually has no issues with directions, although occasionally it will direct you to the wrong driveway. The farm is out in the country, and you may feel like you are driving to the middle of nowhere. We have provided detailed directions below so you can double-check your Google Map directions. Directions: Take US27 south from Nicholasville. Turn left on Mt Hebron Road (KY 1355) about five miles south of the KY River. Travel about 7 miles, go down the steep hill to Sugar Creek, then go about 1/4 mile and turn left on to Jack Turner Branch (You will think this is the road to nowhere). Turn left at the end of Jack Turner Branch. Next, travel about 1/4 mile to the third gravel driveway on the left. There is a gate about 1,000 feet off the main road and then the barn is another 1,000 feet.

Where Do I Park?

There will be parking attendants as you drive through the entrance who will provide detailed parking instructions. We will provide golf cart shuttles from the parking area to the ceremony and reception sites.
