Stefan and Teale’s story began on a warm summer night in 2014 at a local bar. Each was out with friends, and by chance, their circles overlapped. Introductions were made when their friends struck up a conversation, and an instant connection began to form.

After leaving the bar, the group decided to continue the evening at Stefan’s apartment. True to form, Stefan was reserved, letting his chatty friend carry the conversation. Teale found herself fielding questions from Stefan's outgoing companion, all while Stefan quietly took note. By the end of the night, he had a plan. Knowing his style, Stefan didn’t approach Teale directly but instead asked her friend for her number—a move that would soon lead to their first date.

Their first outing was nothing short of magical. Stefan took Teale to a hot air balloon festival, a romantic and colorful setting that set the tone for their budding relationship. The date didn’t end there; they continued the evening at Iron Spike, talking and laughing into the early hours of the morning. It was the beginning of something special, a story that unfolded into a decade of love and shared memories.

Now, ten years later—after some "not-so-patient" waiting on Teale’s part—they are finally saying, “I do.” Their journey proves that sometimes the best things in life are worth the wait.
