In the middle of my 5th grade year we moved and started going to Minnehaha Elementary school. Marci was on the bus route and my sister Connie and Marci became good friends. The next year Connie and Marci went into middle school so I wouldn't see Marci again until 7th grade at Gaiser. At this point I don't think we have ever talked. After Gaiser the next time I would see Marci she was a Junior at Hudson's Bay and Wow! she really has changed! Also about this time I became interested in weight training so we had got a membership at Club Green Meadows. Now I would see Marci at the Club. I ended up quitting at Green Meadows to train at Valmar Gym and Marci was working out there too! Marci has always been in my eyes view.

I think the first time we had a conversation was when she came home from college. Marci and I went to a movie with Connie and Steve Catt and ended up going back to her house...and that is all I'm saying about that!

Now fast forward 9 years and Marci has moved back from Atlanta. She is now married and has a business and sounds like she is happy and well. Now I'm seeing Marci and her family at family gathering and Holiday parties at Connie's over the years. I'm having conversations with Marci and get an occasional hug!

In 2014 while visiting with Connie and Steve I hear Connie telling my Mom that Marci is getting a Divorce. I remember telling Steve that after some time went by I was going to ask her out. Now it is August and Connie is having a birthday party for Phillip and I and I thought Marci might be there. Marci's birthday is in August too so I bought her a gift and she was surprised!

So this is how it started for us. Marci is the best! I definitely don't deserve her but I am grateful to God for giving me the chance to be with her the rest of my life!! I love you Marci with all my heart!
