*As told by Brittany, Teddi's big sister Our story began in 2014. As two high-achieving, involved high school students, we initially connected over football trash talkers and DMs on Twitter. Our true bond, however, started on our 2014 Spring Break at the beach. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Chandler and best friend, Robson, found themselves in need of a roof over their heads. Even though Chandler’s head was sporting a Chicago Blackhawks hat (GO BLUES), Teddi and her family (plus Jordan and Molly!) were happy to welcome the pair. This trip was the first of many beach vacations Teddi and Chandler would eventually share. Our relationship continued to develop from high school and through college and though we moved further apart, we grew closer through our mutual support of each other. The distance wasn’t ideal but we were each other’s biggest cheerleaders. Rarely would Chandler miss the chance to yell his famous “TEDDI G!” before a dance performance and Kennesaw State football games would not be the same without Teddi’s signature “GET EM!”. As we transitioned into adulthood, we have loved building a life together. And though some things have changed since 2014, our love of family, friends, food, and football remain the same. Fall Saturdays may look a little different for Coach Chandler, but Teddi can still be found cheering on the Owls (and yelling with her dad!) at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. After over 8 years, 3 graduations, 2 states, and many “when are you two getting married?”s, Chandler finally set his elaborate proposal plan into motion. With the help of close family and friends, he was able to achieve his vision. Teddi said yes on a beautiful evening in Piedmont Park followed by the perfect, surprise engagement party.&nbsp; So much of our story has taken place at our favorite destination and we couldn’t think of a better place to begin our next chapter.
