It is encouraged due the Hotel's strict ratio of wedding guests; 1 night minimum required. Plus, we really want both sides to mingle and get to know each other throughout our ongoing meetups within Hotel for daily/nightly fun! NOTE: Guests not staying on property will have to pay a fee to access the wedding events. Per Hotel policy, external guests will have to bring passport for entry and names provided to Hotel by Wedding couple of who will be responsible to pay their fee. Payments can be done directly at the resort. Upon arrival, external guests will be directed to the front desk to check in; Passports will be kept at the front until departure. Yes; however, using USD via credit card in Mexico you’ll have to accept the exchange rate offered by the merchant. The currency exchange is 20 MXN pesos to 1 USD, so you can always guarantee your US dollars will be accepted. On the other hand, because their rate will be a couple of pesos less than the official rate, you will actually be paying 15-20% more for things. This is a “convenience fee” for not exchanging your money yourself. Currency exchange locations are inside airports and are usually offered at the hotel; rates to exchange money fluctuate often.

You can use any phone in Mexico, AS LONG AS YOUR CARRIER has the coverage, otherwise you WILL be charged roaming services. For example, T-Mobile has the North America (Canada-USA-Mexico) plan, so you can call/use internet in any of those countries for free. If not, you may be able to add on an International plan with your phone carrier. ***The hotel will have WIFI and to avoid any roaming charges, we HIGHLY recommend downloading WHATSAPP ahead of time for all communication as it is simple, reliable, has private messaging and calling for free all over the world.
