Elliott and Jake have been friends since freshman year of high school. Both of them went on to attend UT Knoxville, where they lived together in multiple places. Everything they’ve done in life since they met, they seem to have done together. Elliott Jones is also the fiancé of the Maid of Honor, Savanna Atkinson.

Savanna is the fiancée of the Best Man, Elliott Jones. Savanna and Tegan have lived almost parallel lives, spending their younger years in South Carolina taking dance classes, moving to Tennessee eventually to find the men of their dreams from the same small town in Middle Tennessee- but they never met until their fiancés brought them together. They made fast friends bonding over the southern snack, boiled peanuts, and comparing stories from their childhoods. Savanna and Tegan have learned to rely on each other, understanding what it’s like to move away from family in pursuit of true love, but also planning their weddings at the exact same time.

Hunter Merryman is the older brother of Jake Merryman. Unlike Jake, Hunter decided to spread his wings and go out to Boston where he is thriving. Looking back on their childhood, Jake remembers Hunter making up games to play with him and getting the entire family into the game “Just Dance”. Upon meeting, Tegan quickly found that Hunter spreads joy wherever he goes, and is honored to soon have Hunter as her brother-in-law.

Katherine is a treasured friend of Tegan’s. Both have watched each other grow through their early 20’s and make interesting, hilarious, and exciting choices. From Girls Day Thursdays to being so close they thought the same thoughts, it’s no wonder they haven’t let distance come between them. Tegan was fortunate enough to able to stand by Katherine on her wedding day, and she is extremely excited to have her support in return.

Kendrick Curtis is Jake’s younger cousin. Growing up ~5 years apart, the boys took on very similar hobbies. Both play video games together when they have the chance, and both wrestled in high school. Tegan’s favorite thing about Kendrick is that he has a caring heart and is always kind to everyone.

Kylie is Tegan’s younger cousin. Growing up, Tegan referred to Kylie as her “mini me”, because she’d follow her around and always want to hang out with her. These days, Kylie still takes the time to come and visit any time Tegan’s in town, and makes an effort to stay in touch, even though they live hours apart. This has helped the girls remain close, so it was not a difficult decision to include Tegan’s “not-so mini me” in her special day.

Nic is Jake’s best friend since childhood. Like Elliott, Nic also attended UT Knoxville with Jake and lived with him multiple times. When Jake and Tegan met, Nic was the first of Jake’s friends that she got to know. She appreciated his humor and often enjoyed hanging out around him and his girlfriend (now wife), Heather. Nic is now a father of one, Amelia, who will be the flower girl during the ceremony.
