Owen and Tejlor met at Northeast Community College during their freshman year as they were both on the livestock judging team. Although they both judged, they were on different age teams. The first time they spoke was during the NECC Thanksgiving Show. It was incredible Owen asked for Tejlor's snapchat after the show because she had been bossing him around all weekend lining up classes. They talked non stop after that weekend.

The first show of Tejlor's that Owen came to. Owen met Tejlor's mom and our officiant for the wedding Jeff Stump.

Tejlor came to Pisgah, IA to meet Owen's family and friends. The first night there, Owen asked Tejlor to be his girlfriend. After Christmas, Owen came to O'Neill, NE to meet Tejlor's dad.

Owen and Tejlor took their first long trip together heading to the NAILE in Louisville, KY for Tejlor to serve on the National Maine Anjou Jr Board. They made a deal: If Owen drove, Tejlor would "help" him write a paper.
