Like so many stories today, theirs started with a swipe. Kevin was working just outside Philadelphia when Tenninger was flying home to San Diego to visit family after an archaeological dig in Cyprus with Philadelphia as her layover when he swiped on her profile on Tinder. Soon after, it was a match!

During their first year together they traveled the world, with Mexico as one of their first adventures. It was actually during this trip that "I love yous" were exchanged at the hotel where they are now getting married.

And just over two years later...SHE SAID YES!!!

Due to the circumstances surrounding the pandemic and quarantine restrictions of 2020, Kevin and Tenn decided to elope then and celebrate with friends, family, and loved ones in the future. This was a private and intimate ceremony with only immediate family present. Kevin's late Pop-Pop, Carl Cassel, was able to watch Kevin and Tenn wed at the very spot his family used to vacation, shortly before he passed.

And now just shy of their fourth wedding anniversary, they are gathering with their friends and family to say their vows and celebrate their marriage back where their swipe turned into love.
